TitanCart Extension Roadmap: What We’re Building in 2026

A look at what's coming to the TitanCart ecosystem in 2026: Multi-Vendor Marketplace, Abandoned Cart Recovery, SMS Notifications, Affiliate Marketing, Product Data Feeds, and more.

With the core TitanCart plugin stable and our first premium extension (Subscriptions) shipping, we want to share what’s coming next. Here’s our extension roadmap for 2026 — built based on what store owners actually need.

Multi-Vendor Marketplace — Q2 2026

Turn your TitanCart store into a full marketplace where multiple sellers list and manage their own products. Think Etsy or Amazon Marketplace, but self-hosted on your own WordPress site.

Vendors will get their own dashboard to manage products, view orders, track earnings, and handle customer communication. The marketplace owner sets commission rates, approves products, and manages payouts. We’re building vendor registration with approval workflows, per-vendor shipping settings, and split payment processing through Stripe Connect.

Abandoned Cart Recovery — Q2 2026

On average, 70% of shopping carts are abandoned before checkout. This extension monitors cart activity and automatically sends recovery emails to customers who leave items behind.

Features will include configurable email sequences (1 hour, 24 hours, 3 days after abandonment), personalized emails with cart contents and direct checkout links, discount code incentives for hesitant shoppers, and detailed analytics showing recovery rates and recovered revenue.

SMS Notifications — Q3 2026

Not everyone checks email promptly. SMS notifications deliver order confirmations, shipping updates, and delivery alerts directly to your customer’s phone. We’re integrating with Twilio and other popular SMS gateways to keep costs low while supporting international delivery.

Store owners will be able to customize which order events trigger an SMS, edit message templates with dynamic variables, and track delivery rates from the admin panel.

Affiliate Marketing — Q3 2026

Grow your store through word-of-mouth with a built-in affiliate program. Partners sign up, get unique referral links, and earn commissions on every sale they drive. The extension will handle affiliate registration and approval, commission tracking with configurable rates per product or category, cookie-based attribution with adjustable windows, payout management, and a self-service affiliate dashboard.

Product Data Feeds — Q3 2026

Automatically generate product feeds for Google Shopping, Facebook Catalog, Instagram Shopping, and other advertising platforms. Keep your product listings synchronized across channels without manual CSV exports. Feed formats will include Google Merchant Center XML, Facebook/Instagram JSON, and custom CSV templates.

Wishlist Sharing & Alerts — Q4 2026

Extend the built-in wishlist with social sharing, price drop alerts, and back-in-stock notifications. Customers can share wishlists with friends and family for gift-giving, while automated emails notify them when a wishlisted product goes on sale or comes back in stock.

How We Prioritize

This roadmap isn’t set in stone. We adjust based on customer demand and feedback. If there’s an extension you need that isn’t listed here, let us know — the features our customers ask for most move up the priority list.

Every extension follows the same principles: one-time purchase pricing, free lifetime updates, dedicated database tables for performance, and deep integration with TitanCart’s hook system.
